We’re seeking an intelligent, confident and committed Digital Project Manager to help our experienced Digital Team deliver exciting and innovative web sites, applications and software solutions as they take on new and diverse work. This is not an infrastructure project role.

 This is an interesting and varied role that will allow you to manage a number of exciting, complex digital delivery projects. As Digital Project Manager you will be the key liaison between clients and internal Developers, Design and Insight teams, ensuring deadlines are being met and requirements are being satisfied.

An eye for detail is essential for the role as well as a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key elements of the day to day role:

  •  The Digital Project Manager plays an integral role in the ICE Digital team. Supporting the Chief Technology Officer, you will be working with a wide range of clients across the public and private sector.  
  •  As a Digital Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the lifecycles of multiple new client projects, from the sign off to site launch and beyond, providing a robust delivery accross our software projects. 
  • You will navigate an array of client relationships, project timelines, last minute changes, and launches. Your skills will mean that you can take ownership, control & responsibility of projects to ensure they are delivered to client satisfaction, are fit for purpose, on schedule and to budget, whilst maintaining quality control at all times.
  •  By collaborating with our Digital, Marketing, Insight and Design teams you’ll be delivering high quality and efficient project implementations to ICE clients

 

The person:

Create, maintain and update detailed project plans that will drive expert schedule, resource and client management

Budget Management

Planning and overseeing new business projects

Effectively manage Client Relationships  

Support the Business Development team with new and existing business development

Using effective client management skills, ensure that there are strong and effective relationships between clients and ICE

Developing quotes and proposals

Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate

Ensure that all project management reports are up to date in line with internal processes

 

Essential existing skills/experience:

Degree level or Equivalent, with  3 – 5 years of experience as a web/software development project manager or similar position in an agency or comparable industry environment

Capable of managing multiple Digital Projects across different platforms

You have experience using project management software such as MS Project, AtTask etc.

Effective and influential communication skills – verbal and written 

Confident in presenting to a wide range of audiences and in different styles

Proactively identify and mitigate project risk, and swiftly resolve project issues

Knowledge of RACI project management

Able to effectively manage competing demands, deadlines and resources to deliver to agreed outcomes and so the team is aware of the situation.

Anticipate potential scope issues and proactively address internally and with client

Ability to manage, lead and motivate a project team
