What you’ll bring

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products such as excel & work as well as understand the SAGE system.
  • An ability to pick things up quickly.
  • A - Level or working towards AAT.
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with good organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail, be flexible and adept at juggling a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

What you will be doing?

  • Petty cash posting and reconciliations
  • Stock recording and reconciliations
  • Posting purchase invoices and purchase orders
  • Credit card posting and reconciliations
  • Pulling together supplier payment runs for approval, posting of all bank transactions, bank reconciliations
  • Debt collection, monthly client statement runs and sales ledger reconciliations
  • Expenses verification and processing
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register and monthly depreciation journals
  • Monthly accruals and prepayment journals
  • Review of monthly costs, identification and correction of any errors, exception reporting
  • Analysis and reconciliation of monthly supplier accounts, identification and correction of any errors
  • Review and control of contracted costs for renewal dates
  • Admin duties incl writing letters, printing and filing
  • To assist as part of the wider support team to help the chargeable team with non-chargeable work as required from time to time (including travel and hotel booking, ordering consumables, arranging facilities for both internal and client meetings)
  • To follow and work against the monthly management accounts timetable, helping teams to meet their deadlines
