You will be enthusiastic and committed to helping a diverse team of creative, passionate and dynamic ICE experts.


As the Front-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for contributing to multiple new client projects, from the sign-off to site launch and beyond.  

Having a keen eye for detail, you will be able to build sites from client briefs to completion, to project timelines but being agile enough to successfully complete last-minute changes and launches. 

Your skills will mean that you can take ownership, control & responsibility of the front-end aspect projects to ensure they are delivered to client satisfaction, are fit for purpose, on schedule and to budget, whilst maintaining quality control at all times.
By collaborating with our Digital, Marketing, Insight and Design teams you’ll be contributing to and delivering on high quality and efficient project implementations to ICE clients.


Essential Skills / Specialisms:

You are web-knowledgeable and must possess a working understanding/experience in:

o   Usability and best practice to advise on design and concept

o   HTML5, CSS2/3

o   Jquery, Javascript

o   Responsive design

o   Accessibility

o   Cross browser testing

o   Testing and verifying own code and others

o   SEO

o   PPC

Desirable Skills:

=        Back-end development using C# ASP.Net and MVC

=        Umbraco/other CMS

=        LESS/SASS

=        Git or other version control

=        App development

=        Front-end frameworks e.g. Angular

=        Typescript

=        Automated front end testing techniques



Qualities & Attitude 

=        3+ Years of .Net front-end development

=        Track record of delivering builds on time and within budget

=        Experience in managing, communicating and building relationships with clients

=        Capable of managing multiple Digital Projects across different platforms

=        Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team, virtual and face-to-face

You will be based in our social and lively office on the banks of the Mersey in the picturesque waterfront town of Birkenhead. Our office boasts spectacular views across to the Liverpool Waterfront and are situated next to the historic Cammell Laird Shipyard.


With excellent transport links, we’re commutable from Chester, Liverpool, Northwich, Wirral, Runcorn or the surrounding areas. We also offer free on-site parking which would be ideal for you if you no longer want the long daily commute and fight for parking in the city centre.


Job Type: Full-time, permanent 

Hours:    Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Friday 8.30 - 3.45 p.m. 


Job Location: Wirral, Merseyside with some UK Travel - candidates from anywhere in the North West are welcome to apply but this is an office based role with no home working.
