This role is to lead and manage stakeholder engagement within the Healthy Lifestyle Services contract in Gloucestershire (HLS Glos). To engage in with clinical and non-clinical relevant stakeholders, deliver engaging presentations and trainings, attend meetings and create opportunities internally and externally to ensure HLS Glos receives the necessary number of appropriate referrals to sustain and grow service outcome achievement.

Role specific purposes:

  • To make sure Services and organisations within Gloucestershire are aware and are appropriately referring into the Healthy Lifestyle Service, including but not limited to GP Surgeries, Hospitals, Pharmacies, Council, Third /voluntary sector and other private organisations.

  • Co-Create, oversee, plan, manage & lead the HLS Glos promotion and engagement strategy. Maximising our Gloucestershire coverage where people need to know about us most. To give direction to HLS Coaches for engagements within our community, to follow up and ensure tasks are completed.

  • To ensure the Service receives enough referrals to ensure target attainment for HLS Glos vision of reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes for the people of Gloucestershire, specifically in the most deprived areas and for our priority groups.

    What you’ll do?

  • Identify and seek out areas of greatest need and deprived community areas that would most benefit to reduce health inequalities.
  • Lead on the development of service user feedback including a volunteer/ambassador scheme for local people
  • Organise meetings (F2F / Virtual / Digital) with community leaders and organisations to increase uptake of referrals into HLS Glos
  • Management of Stakeholder comms.
  • Liaise with the ICE Creates marketing agency to inform marketing plan for the service
  • Be the first contact for the Services engagement, the face of the service to most stakeholders.
  • Ensure an active marketing presence of HLSG within hospitals, GP surgeries, pharmacies. Community centres and other areas, specifically in deprived communities.
  • Liaise with communication departments within PHE, Statutory Services and others to embed.
  • Service engagement development planning and marketing
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with key clients in the sector and develop good relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients in the sector
  • Regularly presenting the Service within organisations that could refer to HLSG to ensure an increased uptake of referrals and continual appropriate referrals.
  • Tackling inappropriate referrals by contacting referring individuals.
  • Targeting and Increasing referrals from our Priority Groups by building and maintain relationships with different sectors of the community.
  • Stakeholder relationships, analysis and development
  • Regular attendance at health and wellbeing meetings across the county as well as identifying and attending local partner meetings to discuss the Service
  • Communicate effectively with partners within the voluntary and community sectors, statutory services and other organisations

What you’ll bring

Experience of manging stakeholders, managing large data sets, managing long-term project and systems. Working in or with Statutory Sector partners, specifically health and social care. An ability to both present in-person and virtually to groups and individuals of all audiences and influence others.

Other abilities!

  • Good knowledge of 365 software and various desktop software packages like acrobat
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft products including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
